How do I deposit crypto?

  1. Select “Deposit”

  2. Choose the asset

  3. Generate a new address

Please note: under the applicable regulations and CheckSig’s authorisations, deposits of Electronic Money Tokens (EMT) are not permitted (for example stablecoins qualifying as electronic money, such as USDC).

Under Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 (the “Travel Rule”), we may ask for information about the source of the funds.

Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible: always check the network and the address. The CheckSig team can assist you operationally, but this does not replace your own responsibility to verify the details of the transaction.

How do I withdraw crypto? How much does it cost?

  1. Select “Withdraw”

  2. Enter the asset, the amount and the destination address

As required by the European “Travel Rule” regulation, a pop-up will ask you for information about the destination of the transfer.

Finally, if the address you entered as the destination is being used for the first time, for your own security we will ask you to book a video identification with one of our operators. During the video call you will be asked for an identity document and to confirm the destination address you entered.

The withdrawal is executed within 10 working days.

Blockchain transfers are irreversible once confirmed by the network.

Costs: crypto withdrawals are free of charge for the Client. Any network fees are fully borne by CheckSig.

Please note: under the applicable regulations and CheckSig’s authorisations, withdrawals of Electronic Money Tokens (EMT) are not permitted (for example USDC).
