CheckSig operates as a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) under the European Regulation MiCAR (Reg. EU 2023/1114).
In particular:
- it initially operated as a VASP, registered with the OAM register, in compliance with Italian regulations;
- it has obtained the CASP authorisation from CONSOB under the MiCAR Regulation, becoming the first authorised crypto operator in Italy under the new European regulatory framework.
